Raksha Bandhan Celebrations
On 20th August 2013, Kripa Dharavi commemorated Raksha Bandhan; a popular Indian festival among sisters and brothers, for 9 Street Children and 5 Community girls. The girls tied threads on the wrists of the children who in turn promised to come to their aid should the need arise and will love and treat them with care.
Other activities included snacks, sweets, games and drawing.
