On 11th May 2013, Kripa Bareilly conducted an outreach programme at (ITBP) Indo Tibetan Border Police Camp at Bukhara , Budaun Road , Bareilly with a view to increase awareness of Substance Addiction and its ill-effects.
The Para Military Jawans and the Para Medical Staff of I.T.B.P. were made aware of the Dangers of Chemical Dependency; its effects on family, social relationship and financial situations.
An Ex-Patient gave his testimony; wherein he mentioned about the different methods he had adopted to quit addiction but failed. He also spoke on the Kripa Model of Recovery; and the importance of a Residential Programme and Alcoholic Anonymous Meetings to attain sobriety.
