Awareness for Street Children
On 21st June 2013, Kripa Assam conducted an Awareness Programme for Street Children. The programme was organized by World Vision, India , at Panbazar. Around 30 children, children who come from poor socio-economic background and are vulnerable to High risk behaviour and rampant use of Dangerous Inhalants attended the programme.
They listened attentively to the resource team who spoke on Addictive Behaviour, Dangers of Addictive substances and explained to the children to focus on good things in their life like education and recreation. The staff also shared their own life experiences and the harm that befell them. The children resolved to bring positive changes in their life.
