International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking Programme's by Kripa Foundation India

On 26th June 2013, Kripa Bareilly commemorated Anti Drug Day in collaboration with The Salvation Army at their premises.
The purpose of the programme was to educate their staff and cadets, other social workers and the general public about addiction, so that they could help addicts in the vicinity and other nearby areas. They were made aware on the abuse of drugs, their effects on the users, their family members and society and treatment modalities possible through Kripa Model of Recovery, Counseling sessions and self help groups of Alcoholic anonymous.
The Division Commander of The Salvation Army proposed to have more such programs through a tie-up with Kripa Bareilly. There was good response from the audience to spread the message to the suffering addict.
