Every Year Fr Joe H Pereira of Kripa Foundation teaches yog in Europe and gives a special teaching on Kripafoundation Iyengar Yoga in Zurich. This year the event on the evening of Monday 3rd June drew in a record crowd of a hundred yog practitioners from all over Switzerland at St. Jacob’s Church.
Fr. Joe demonstrated from the front of the altar and explained how some postures help to bring the brain into the ‘Alpha’ state so that one is able to contemplate with full attention.
It is most extraordinary that a Catholic Priest is allowed to do this programme year after year in a Church and all the offerings are given fully to Kripa Foundation.
