Awareness Programme for School Children
The School authorities of Assam Valley School , Tezpur, alarmed at the increasing rise of addictive substances among vulnerable population requested Kripa Assam to intervene.
Accordingly, on 16th June 2013, the staff of the centre conducted an Awareness Programme on Substance Abuse.
Topics on Kripa Model of Recovery, Disease of Addiction, and Dangers of Secondary substances like Tobacco and Nicotine were explained to the children. Importance of Yoga, Meditation and Changes in Lifestyle were also stressed on. The children were happy to be part of such educative and informative programme.
