Mr. Ravindra Sengaonkar,IPS, the Commissioner of Police, Railways, Mumbai paid a courtesy visit to Kripa Foundation, Bandra ,Mumbai and was received with a floral bouquet by Founder Trustee Fr. Joe Pereira ( recipient of the Padma Shri ) along with National Program Director, Mr. Bosco D’Souza and Executive Director, Patricia D'Souza.
Commissioner Sengaonkar, IPS, has in the past worked for the betterment of his staff when posted as the DCP of MIDC Andheri. along with Shri Naval Bajaj IPS (now Additional Commissioner Mumbai Police (Admin). The visit was also to discuss how Kripa and the Railways in Mumbai could help in treating Addicts and Alcoholics who cause a great hindrance to passengers travelling by trains through robbery and death on railway tracks. The meeting went well and as Fr. Joe mentioned that in the Spirit of Mother Teresa,Kripa has found through Commissioner Shri Ravindra Sengaonkar IPS. a true crusader to save an addict and give a new lease of drug free life.
