World AIDS Day
On 01st December 2012, Kripa Darjeeling participated in the World AIDS Day programme organised by Shankar Foundation in collaboration with other NGOs at Chowrastha, Darjeeling. Many musical bands performed in tribute to those people who passed away due to the illness.
An awareness stall was set up displayed with posters related to addiction and HIV AIDS and volunteers at the stall distributed pamphlets to the General community. Information on HIV AIDS; its causes and preventive measures were given to those who wished to avail of it.
